An virtual student colloquium with Dr. Daniel D’Amico
April 10, 2021
(Day-long Event)
About the Event: A select group of MTSU undergraduate students are invited to participate in an online discussion colloquium on “History of Policing and Alternate Models,” hosted by the Political Economy Research Institute at Middle Tennessee State University. Sponsored by the Institute for Humane Studies, this day-long colloquium will center on informal, yet serious, discussion with just 15 participants. Brown University’s Professor Daniel D’Amico will serve as the discussion leader in order to facilitate an in-depth exploration of the questions and challenges raised by a set of readings totaling around 130 pages which we will provide you with and ask you to read carefully in advance.
The event took place online on April 10. As compensation for participation, IHS provided students with a $100 stipend.
